Library Portal Using Wordpress

During a class on Library 2.0, I explored the possibilities of using Wordpress as the library Website. Smaller libraries are using platforms like Drupal and Wordpress to create simple sites that provide quick access and are easily updated. I decided to test out Wordpress on a larger library, the San Francisco Public Library.

Crafts Website

This site, focusing on the current crafting trend, was my final project in a class on web design. It illustrates my knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, and Javascript.

Yahoo pipes

Through Yahoo Pipes, I combined various library job feeds with geolocation info, adding them to a map to create this visualization of library jobs throughout the world.
